Circuits 101: Build a glowing paper design using copper tape, LEDs, and coin cell batteries. Learn how circuits work and design your own light-up laser-cut shape.
Intro to Soldering: Heat things up—safely! Learn how to solder like a pro and create your own mini electronic project. We’ll cover the basics, wire up a working circuit, and send you home with a soldered creation.
Electronics with Micro:bit: Dive into coding with a friendly little microcontroller. Use block coding to build a temperature sensor or animated display you can control. No programming experience required.

about 💭
Light it up, solder it down, code it up!
Come learn the basics of electronics, soldering, and microcontrollers through quick, hands-on projects you can actually take home in a 3-week workshop series starting Tuesday, April 22nd.
Whether you’re interested in lighting up laser-cut art, soldering your first circuit, or coding with Micro:bit, we’ve got a session for you. The 3 workshops detailed to the left will be offered in order for the following 3 weeks.
Open to all skill levels. Just bring your curiosity—we’ll supply the tools, parts, and snacks. You can come to any (or all!) workshops offered in the series, as they are not dependent on each other.
